Guava / Amrood chutney is a sweet and sour chutney which can be prepared in just 10 minutes. Guava chutney can be served with snacks like pakoda, chaats, samosa etc. It can be used as a sandwich spread also. 



Amrood pr guava chutney can be served with any chaat instead of coriander chutney. Just like other chutney, guava chutney is simple and quick. This chutney is often prepared in haryana and served with missi roti. Here is the complete recipe for guava / amrood chutney.

Recipe Details : Amrood Chutney / Guava Chutney

Ingredients for Amrood Chutney /Guava Chutney

  • Guava (Amrood) : 1 
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves : 1 cup
  • Green Chili : 1 - 2
  • Salt to taste
  • Rock Salt : 1/4 tsp
  • Water : 2 tsp

  • How to make Guava Chutney

    Cut the green chilies and guava / amrood in small pieces.

    Add guava, fresh coriander leaves and green chilli in a grinder. 

    Add salt and grind to make a fine paste. If required, add little water. 

    Grind till it becomes a smooth paste.

    Amrood ki chutney is ready. Serve it along with chaats.
